Dear friends
Greeting from Jivdaya Charitable Trust
The lockdown has affected all of us but has an enormous impact on the stray animals, specifically in the urban set up. The strays have no means of feeding themselves as all hotels, restaurants, roadside eateries; marketplaces are closed where they used to have easy access to food. Even the regular feeders are also not being able to go out for feeding honoring social distancing. Stray animals are starving, while the availability of food remains difficult, the animals are also being misunderstood and mistreated because of the rumors linking them to be the carriers of corona virus. Despite the World Health Organization (WHO) clarifying that animal cannot spread COVID-19Many healthy strays harassed, ill-treated and abandoned. During this extremely difficult period Jivdaya Charitable Trust providing food to over600 strays every day (especially dogs) in different part of the city and areas that are disconnected and secluded. We are trying hard with the limited resources to feed maximum number of strays so they can fight through and none of our furry friends lose the battle of life out of hunger.
Dear friends to sustain this feeding programme till the pandemic passes we need your supportive hands, prayers and generous donations, so please support us to take care of these innocent lives.
