Animal Care on Wheels

Greetings to all our donors and well-wishers,

First of all, thank you for your generous donations towards the Animal Care on Wheels project, we could do this only with your help and we are immensely grateful for that.

Every animal that has been rescued and treated from a difficult past, and has a story to tell. So many stories that never got told, so many souls that will never be missed, so many innocent lives denied a chance to live and silenced. Thousands of homeless animals in Ahmedabad city, being looked after by caretakers or shelters, and those adopted by impoverished good people, require medical care. Animals get hit by cars, victims of human cruelty, involved in territorial fights, need vaccines to prevent dreaded diseases and infected wounds are taken under this project. Animals, especially dogs, cats, cows are cruelly mistreated and often the victims of deadly road accidents without a hint of compassion. Luckily, we do have community members and Animal lovers that are compassionate and will call our Help Line if they see a sick or injured animal on the street. Every day our mobile Ambulance Vans reach about 100 km to attend as many calls as we can and provide on-the-spot treatment to ailing animals, which kept our team on their toes throughout the month.
