Mini was brought to Jivdaya by her local owner when she was in tremendous labor pain but not giving birth to her babies due to some difficulties. After sonography, our team realized that none of Mini’s babies are alive, and she was choking. Looking at her condition, our team promptly started performing a C-section surgery to save her life.
Her Surgery took almost an hour before she was completely out of danger. Our staff breathed a sigh of relief when the surgery got over. We are extremely sorry that we could not save her babies as they were dead before Mini arrived at Jivdaya, but we are happy that we have saved her life with an on-the-spot decision of our doctors.
But the story does not end here. After her surgery, Mini required a daily follow-up treatment to heal fast, but her local owner did not want to leave her and go home. So, we promised him that we will arrange a regular follow-up for Mini by our ‘Animal Care on Wheels’ team till the time she recovers. After week-long follow-ups, Mini is doing great, and her local owner is super happy.
We might not take away the pain of a mother who lost her babies, but we surely can share our helping hands to soothe her physical pain.
Dear Friends, Jivdaya Charitable Trust (JCT), thank you all for your support. We would not have been able to save Mini without your contribution. There are a lot of strays like Mini who need care & love. Together we can save them. Come join us to save more lives every day.
Thank You
