Open and Maggot wound turns deadly if not treated at the right time.Our stray buddies often get injured due to road accidents, territorial fight, conflict with humans, animal cruelty etc.as they stay on streets there are higher chances that maggots would attack their wound and make it worse and painful for them. Sometimes negligence can lead this kind of wounds to death for our furry friends.

Last Monday, we received a call for “Victor”, who is an Alpha male in his territory. Few days back victor was involved in a territorial fight with other dogs. After that incident, the locals observed that raja was limping and was pain. When they tried to feed him, he refused to eat. His local owners immediately call our Van as he was the favourite and most loved by his local caretakers. When our team reached to the spot after checking they found the injury has developed maggots in it. Without even wasting a minute our team started treating him. As his injury was old, it will take a little bit of time to heal completely. We are sure with the love of his local owners and our treatment & care victor will be okay soon.
