‘Julie’ is a resident stray of ‘Vasna Police Station’ where she was born and raised by all the staff. After many happy and memorable years, Julie is old now. She was suffering from an old forelimb injury and some nerve issues. All the staff of the police station was worried as her health was deteriorating day by day. They got in touch with Jankhanaben (name changed), who takes care of all the strays in that locality and is an active volunteer in Jivdaya Charitable Trust. Jankhanaben immediately called our ‘Animal Care on wheels’ team for Julie’s treatment. With The help of Jankhana and our team, she is getting regular treatment and follow-up and showing significant signs of recovery.
Like humans, our furry friends also go through various old-age problems. As they grow old, they lose the ability to find food and water for themselves and become completely dependent on us. These community dogs guard their respective territories throughout their lives. This is our moral responsibility to take care of them when they need us the most.
A special thanks to Jankhana Shah all the staff of Vasna Police Station and Dr. Chandresh & the Team for taking care of Julie.
Dear Friends, we have been able to save many others like Julie with your kind support, but there are many left who are suffering every day. We need to reach them too. Please share our story with your friends & family, so they can also join their hands. Together we will be able to save more and more lives and make a better future for our next generation.
Remember, we can only have a better life when every living being gets a chance to survive.
