Anti-rabies Vaccination Drive in Ahmedabad
Anti-rabies vaccination drive was organized by Jivdaya Charitable Trust to prevent the spread of rabies, a deadly virus that is transmitted through the bite of an infected animal, usually a dog. Rabies is a serious public health issue in many parts of the world, including India, where it is estimated that around 20,000 people die of rabies each year.
Jivdaya Charitable Trust recently conducted an Anti Rabies Vaccination camp with the help of a local stray animals feeder group and covered different parts of Ahmedabad. This drive took more than 16 hours to complete and vaccinated as many stray dogs as possible so the dogs do not lose their lives to this deadly virus.
Overall, anti-rabies vaccination drives are an important public health measure that can help prevent the spread of a deadly virus. Organizations like Jivdaya Charitable Trust play a crucial role in conducting these drives and ensuring the well-being of stray animals in their community.
