Skin infection is a common problem in our Indian stray dogs. There could be many reasons for skin infection or diseases like fleas or mites, chronic dermatitis, fungal infection, any wound, underlying diseases and many more. If it is neglected, then it can lead to an extreme itchy and painful condition for our furry friends. Oftentimes it poses a bigger threat to the dog’s health.
‘Balu’ was suffering from a severe skin disease. When the local people saw Balu’s condition, they immediately contacted our Animal Care on Wheels team.
Our team not only reached the location and provided the dog with proper medication, but our veterinarian explained and instructed Balu’s local owner the entire care schedule and even handed over the oral medication for a longer treatment.
Jivdaya Charitable Trust has been serving these helpless animals and their local owners since 2007 without charging anything for treatment, medication, and care. But we have achieved this only with kind help from our donors and supporters. We have saved thousands of lives in need with their contributions. Jivdaya Charitable Trust is grateful to everyone who stayed with us in this journey.
