Healing on Wheels: Compassionate Care for Strays at Their Doorstep.
Jivdaya Charitable Trust’s Animal Care on Wheels initiative continues to extend vital support to stray animals across Ahmedabad, Gujarat, through its mobile treatment vans. Each van is fully equipped and staffed with a skilled veterinarian and assistants, allowing the team to provide on-the-spot medical care without relocating or distressing the injured animal. Recently, one such van responded to a distress call about a cat unable to walk due to intense pain in its left hind leg. Concerned local caretakers feared the injury might be the result of cruelty or abuse. The team promptly arrived, administered injectable and oral medications, and supplied follow-up medicines to ensure continued recovery under the local caregivers’ watch. Jivdaya Charitable Trust remains grateful to its supporters, whose contributions make it possible to swiftly reach and care for animals in urgent need.
