A dog named Sheru was found suffering from a severe tick infestation. A concerned local resident noticed his condition and immediately called Jivdaya Charitable Trust’s helpline. The Animal Care on Wheels team quickly arrived with medical staff to treat him. Guided by the caller, they located Sheru and began his treatment right away.
After checking his body temperature and overall condition, the team administered injectable medication through fluids, followed by a powdered treatment to stop the ticks from spreading. Sheru soon started feeling better, and his improvement was clearly visible.
Once stabilized, the veterinary team released Sheru back into his familiar area and coordinated with a local helper to monitor him and a daily follow-up visits will be arranged by 'Animal Care on Wheels' until his full recovery.
