No one is ministering to children of divorce in Egypt.
Not Guilty has seen the need and is providing 13-week online support groups for children of divorce aged between 5 and 12. This is in partnership with DC4K.
As of 2017, Egypt's divorce rates were reported to be between 39.3 and 60.7%, depending on rural and urban locations. (Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Can you imagine the number of children suffering because of their parents' divorce?
Kids feel scared, sad, and confused after a divorce. They know parents have been hurt deeply. As a result, they may hide their feelings because they are worried about their parents' happiness or do not know how to express their feelings appropriately.
DC4K helps them process those feelings and gives them the tools to communicate better with you.
I just got the copyright to translate DC4K into Arabic and take it to Egypt.
Please do pray for the DC4K training of trainers tomorrow.
I am training 14 divorced men, women, and children of divorce to lead the online DC4K groups.
Pray that this new initiative will bring recovery to thousands of Egyptian children recovering from their parents' divorce trauma.
Your donations will help start more groups.
