Behold, I am doing a new thing

Farah and Farid, our new life size puppets
Farah and Farid, our new life size puppets

We have been through a lot these last few months but we will not give up. Not Guilty received the facelift it needs to be state of the art. We have created live  puppets, Farah (on the right) meaning Happy, and Farid (on the left) meaning Unique. We are focusing right now on nurseries and international schools until we get the confirmation from the Ministry of education to go into schools once more.

Encouragement

Lolita, an eight year old girl, has been coming for trauma therapy having been abused by a family member.
One of the exercises we gave her was to color the parts of her body with different colors for each feeling. The photo on the left was at the beginning of therapy with angry, nothingness and bored as the main feelings. After months of therapy, we see the photo on the left with happy, lonely and swingy as the main feelings.
Her mother wrote, “I cannot thank you enough Dr. Laila and Mr. Tamer,

The activities you provided for Lolita, and the sessions she had with you, are what gave her the courage to open up and speak about the abuse. We may have to go soon to a police station to testify, I am going ask for a female police officer if possible - Mr. Tamer al Kharrat, you are exceptional, one of the few men my daughter felt comfortable to speak to.

It is amazing, do you remember how she was drawing those violent images of herself right after the abuse? Since we've been in therapy she is drawing herself very differently. I attach the images so you can see the difference feeling "safe" has made in her”.

What do we do?

We help busy worried mothers turn their unprotected, uninformed kids into self assertive, safe kids. Research shows that parents lose on average $12,000 a year because of lost productivity, stress and anxiety produced by sexual abuse and bullying.
Get on board on this exciting trip.
