A few days ago there was an incident of sexual abuse at an international school that caused an uprise in Egypt. Parents, schools and teachers panicked realizing that they needed to tackle the solution at the root.
Yesterday, April 14, I got a phone call from the office of His Excellency the Minister of Education in Egypt, Dr. Al Hilaly al Shirbiny. He asked me to start implementing the anti sexual abuse, anti bullying curricum that I had presented to the ministry since January 11, 2015. I was having a lot of difficulty getting the needed OKs to start.
This is a great feat, and a plus for the ministry of education.
We will start immediately by training 60 social workers, teachers and principles of 15 schools on the curriculum.
We will also do a few sessions for primary school kids, as the ministry of eduation watches us to evaluate the training.
This is the happiest day of my life, a day when dreams come true, a day when we will make our Egypt the best country in the whole world.
The number of government schools in Egypt is 23,000
Your donations for this project will be very much appreciated.
Dreams do come true.
