Since the Taliban takeover in August 2021, humanitarian support needs in Afghanistan have increased exponentially. Aria Project provides direct people-to-people aid for Afghan families and individuals, from ensuring that immediate life-sustaining needs are met to helping fund Humanitarian Parole visas for those in danger who seek a safe, legal way to leave the country. INEB requests your support for this project, named in honor of a baby girl born days after the fall of the Ashraf Ghani regime.
As Afghan winter descends, and as food and fuel costs skyrocket even while critical aid dwindles, basic human needs such as food, shelter, and warmth are now utterly out of reach of countless Afghans. Many are experiencing the additional suffering of being explicitly targeted by the government and are desperately seeking the support they need to safely flee the country.
Your monthly commitment for as long as you wish-or your one-time donation-will help us provide critical support during the harsh winter months in the form of food, shelter, protection from the cold, and medical supplies. It will also provide support to those eligible for Humanitarian Parole visas, allowing them the opportunity to find safety outside of Afghanistan. Monthly or one-time donations of as little as $10 are welcome and accepted on this platform.
Aria Project's support community includes women's rights activists and other educated professionals actively targeted by the Taliban. Many are in hiding, unable to work or provide for their families, living in daily fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Providing life-sustaining support, and where possible helping them flee to safety, will not only save lives but also allow-in safer times-for those supported to again work for the benefit of their beloved country, and the world.
