Armath Program Report 2022-2023

We are pleased to present the Armath Program Report for the year 2022-2023.

Since 2011, the UATE has been dedicated to its mission of establishing the Armath Engineering Laboratories educational program. This initiative aims to expand engineering laboratories, enhance technical education resources, and create a global network of students. Additionally, UATE has initiated the process of exporting the Armenian model of technology education to a worldwide audience.

Assessment Based on Project Objectives:

  • In 2022, more than 17,500 students engaged in engineering laboratories across Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhk, and other countries.
  • The integration of labs into schools, as opposed to standalone structures, has fostered more realistic expectations and a deeper understanding among students when choosing their professions.
  • Remarkably, over 46% of the 2022 graduates have ventured into entrepreneurship, with nearly 9% immediately entering the IT sector.
  • Students have acquired proficiency in programming languages and engineering modeling, enabling them to actively participate in various competitions.
  • The "Armath" Academy, an accelerator program supporting startups at various development stages, has been a notable success.
  • Collaboration and teamwork have been at the forefront of student involvement in nearly all phases of the project.
  • There are plans to initiate and expand into various innovative domains, including radio electronics, print design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, augmented and virtual reality, and agrotechnology.
  • A significant achievement has been the active participation of female students, accounting for 40% of participants.
  • From an economic perspective, the Net Present Value (NPV) of the project stands at an estimated 445 billion AMD, with an impressive Internal Rate of Return (IRR) at 574%.
  • Furthermore, students have actively represented the Armath program by participating in various IT-related events, showcasing their skills and knowledge on a broader stage.
