Impact is growing in Armath

By Maya Shahumyan | Project Manager

Armath Engineering Makerspaces: Impact Report

Since its launch in 2011, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) has led the transformative Armath Engineering Makerspaces initiative. What began as a local educational effort has grown into a globally recognized model for accessible, hands-on STEM education. In 2025, Armath makerspaces continue to thrive across Armenia and in countries including the USA, France, Kuwait, India, Eswatini, Bangladesh, and Georgia—showcasing the global relevance and scalability of Armenia’s educational vision.

2025 Achievements: Empowering Students and Communities

Student Engagement
In 2025, over 17,000 students actively participated in Armath makerspaces globally. Through structured, hands-on learning in engineering, programming, and robotics, students are gaining the technical skills and creative confidence needed for the innovation-driven jobs of tomorrow.

Real-World Learning
The integration of Armath labs into schools bridges the gap between theory and practice. By working on real projects, students develop practical problem-solving skills and envision futures in technology, engineering, and entrepreneurship.

Skill Building and Competitions
Armath students continued to shine in national and international competitions, such as:

  • DigiCode 2025 – where students showcased innovative coding and automation solutions.

Fostering Innovation Through Camps
The 2025 Armath Camp has been launched and currently students register for it, also it connects coaches, and experts for a dynamic week of collaborative learning. Through workshops in robotics, and engineering, participants enhanced their skills while forming lasting professional and peer connections

Together, we are making a lasting impact—one student, one makerspace, one community at a time.
