The child comes from Jocotenango, lives with his parents and siblings. The child has begun to study in this school year at the Dreamer Center School in the fifth grade. The mother requested for help from Nuestros Ahijados because she did not have the financial resources to continue supporting her son in school, and the father has alcohol problems, many times he does not contribute the economic cost they need to cover the expenses of the family.
Kleymer has been receiving psychological treatment because the father at the time of being under the influence of alcohol became very violent and was always hurting the family and also causing psychological damage to them.
Currently the main support of the family is the mother who is earning some money doing domestic work in different homes in the community; the little amount she makes is what is useful to support the house expenses. The father works in construction, but he use the money earned to drink alcohol. He usually gets home drunk and creates conflicts; for that reason the family does not count with his support.
The mother has been enrolled in the Mothers Club to receive the benefits of Asociación Nuestros Ahijados, such as vegetables or free use of the Family Clinics Atkinson, and the child is helped with school supplies, clothing and shoes for their daily utilization.
