We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our At Home Discovery Kit GlobalGiving campaign. Your contributions have been instrumental in helping us provide educational resources to children in the US Virgin Islands, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.
We are excited to announce that our 10th At Home Discovery Kit, with the theme of celestial bodies, is scheduled for release at the 2025 Our World: Worldwide Day of Play on September 27, 2025. This global event, in partnership with Nickelodeon, is dedicated to promoting active play and joyful learning for children and families worldwide.
Due to a funding shortfall, we had to push back the release of the 10th kit, originally slated for summer 2025, to be released at the event and disseminated territory-wide as funding allows. Your support is crucial in helping us reach our goal of ensuring that every child in the US Virgin Islands has access to educational opportunities.
As part of this special event, we are seeking sponsors to make it a free admission day for all visitors. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to experience pop-up interactive demonstrations and performances facilitated by local community partners such as U.S. Fish and Wildlife, The Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service, Health Professionals, Bamboula Dance and Drumming, and more. Additionally, each visitor will receive a free At Home Discovery Kit to take home and continue their learning journey.
The At Home Discovery Kit program is an ongoing GlobalGiving.org fundraising initiative At Home Discovery Kits for VI Families (47832), and we are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children in the US Virgin Islands.
