Hello!
We did it! Together, we recruited another dynamic class of social change leaders.
Class 31 just completed Orientation on July 19. Admidst the presentations on cultural adaptation, communications, and logistics, the week was filled with many laughs, new friends, and lots and lots of photos! For me, a real highlight is seeing the excitement of the Atlas Corps network as we welcome a new Class. Alumni (of which I am proud to be one;) from around the world send their best wishes and even relive some of the memories from their Fellowship.
An added highlight to this week was GlobalGiving Bonus Day on July 18 (Thanks for the support!). As part of our campaign, we asked our Fellows how they "empower women globally?" Class 31 shared some inspiring responses captured in photo:
Together, Class 31 demonstrates that each person has a unique way of addressing issues critical to improving our world. See their other responses on our Facebook page.
Thank you for providing the support that made Class 31 possible! Now, we will use the support gained from Bonus Day to engage more Fellows, with our goal of welcoming at least 10 more female Fellows before the end of 2018.
Stay tuned for details!
Thanks for your support. Cheers-
Abby
P.S. Even though Bonus Day technically ended on July 18, a Board member has committed to matching any donation received by the end of the week (July 21). Today is a great day to give!
