Hello!
Great news - Class 32 arrived in September and is on their fourth week of service! Wow!
In many ways, 2018 has been great. We have supported about 85 Atlas Corps Fellows - including some remarkable women as part of our "empower women globally" theme. In addition, we launched a new website and a new partnership with IBM. We continue to thrive despite significant visa challenges and cuts in government funding. The support of our individual donors has made the difference! Thank you!
Of course, we still need strong end of year fundraising to achieve our goals.
The good news is that we’ve been challenged to raise $50,000 by Tuesday, October 30th, and a donor will match, dollar-for-dollar, the money raised on all our GlobalGiving projects as part of a #GivingToday challenge.
#GivingToday is an opportunity to do something different. We want to beat the holiday rush. We want to reduce the costs of a big end of year mailer. We want to ensure that your contribution goes directly to supporting our Fellows. To that end, we have secured a $1 for $1 match for up to $50,000 for donations received in the month of October (including Gala tickets). It means that we can raise $100,000 by Halloween! It is scary how valuable this support can be to Atlas Corps. Why wait until November when you can have your donation matched on #GivingToday?
You’ve been so supportive of Atlas Corps in the past, will you support us again now?
By joining our #GivingToday campaign, you support inspiring Atlas Corps Fellows like Class 32 and Pragya (India, Host: Atlas Corps), Miguel (Ecuado, Host: American Red Cross), Pheonah (Uganda, Host: Voice of America), Maryem (Pakistan, Host: Global Communities) who recently shared their perspectives on the role of women and girls in society on #DayoftheGirl. Watch the highlights on our Facebook page.
Join us to support Pragya, Miguel, Pheonah, and Maryem. Join us in #GivingToday!
Act now to get your gift matched 100% in October!
