By Scott Beale | Founder & CEO
Hello!
Thank you for playing a key role in supporting Atlas Corps. In 2017, our annual theme was building bridges. In 2018, we focused on the theme of empowering women globally. During the year, we engaged 52 new women in the Fellowship—in fact, 60% of our Fellows are female. In addition, our Fellows hosted discussion panels, wrote blogs, and engaged in conversations around the topic. It all culminated with our Empower Women Globally Gala on December 1, 2018.
Now, in 2019, our intention is to focus on diversity and inclusion. We will update you as we develop activities and outreach throughout the year. The topic is timely and resonates well with our diverse network of Fellows and Hosts.
If you have ideas, stories, and/or events that focus on diversity and inclusion, please send them to Abby, our chief development & engagement officer at abby@atlascorps.org. We are seeking opportunities to engage Fellows AND stories to highlight!
It is truly inspiring to see what we accomplish when individuals unite under the common goal of advancing positive social change in our world. It is amazing what happens when we connect talented individuals to the opportunity to serve at outstanding organizations!
Thank YOU for your ongoing support of Atlas Corps!
Looking foward to a great 2019-
Scott (and the Atlas Corps Team)
