Hello-

What happens when you gather 85 international social change leaders in Washington, DC, for one week? There is inspiration, innovation, community-building, a visit to the U.S. Department of State, and a pretty awesome night of karaoke! I just described the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab Immersion that took place the week of June 10.

The theme of the week, Creating Movements, focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the ability to transfer the knowledge home. One of the most memorable sessions was on "movements and communications in the media era." The session embraced the role all of us play as communicators. One Fellow summarized it well:

“We are all communicators. Our communication can influence lawmakers, legislators. We live in the era of human media, so we need to use it. People will tell their story with or without us”

Each of our Fellows is a communicator. They share their stories during the Fellowship and after as they continue to multiply their impact at home. Their diverse experiences enrich our community and inspire real social change.

Thank you for supporting this diverse, talented, and inspiring network of social change communicators. We invite you to continue showing your support AND to multiply your impact on Thursday, July 18! Donations of $100 or more will be matched as part of GlobalGiving Bonus Day.

Let's celebrate diversity and inclusion! Let's support Atlas Corps Fellows. Join us!

Cheers-

Abby

P.S. Will you spread the word on social media? Share this note: Celebrate #DiversityandInclusion with Atlas Corps. #Give100 on July 18! Donations matched on GlobalGiving Bonus Day at donate.atlascorps.org.
