Mark Your Calendars: October 23 is Bonus Day!

Give 30% more on 10/23/13. All donations made between 9 AM - 12 PM matched by 30%.

Hello!

Thank you for your ongoing support to Atlas Corps! While there are many questions in the air related to the current state of government, Atlas Corps is proud that our Fellows, Alumni, and Host Organizations are getting things done. You, too, are getting things done through your contributions. In fact, I am pleased to share that we have four monthly donors and more than 100 donations received through GlobalGiving - thank you! Now, are you ready to give 30% more? In one week (Wednesday, October 23) is GlobalGiving Bonus Day. All donations matched up to 30%. You can keep building our global network.

As you may have read least week, Scott sent an email update about Getting Things Done, "At Atlas Corps, we are all about getting things done. No matter your politics or your perspective, we can all agree that the challenges of the world need great leaders to address them. I am proud that Atlas Corps develops leaders who get things done." In fact, in our first seven years, we have supported 206 Fellows from 54 countries who are getting things done.

Specifically, we highlight two of our Alumni inspiring impact on a global scale:

  • Esther Agbarakwe (Nigeria, Class 7, Host: PAI): Talked about motivating connections into actions in a conversation with Melinda Gates during the UN Foundation's Social Good Summit in September. You can watch her video clip.
  • Vithika Yadav (India, Class 1, Host: Free the Slaves): Shared her personal experience with sexual harassment and gender-based violence in this TEDx Talk at The Hague.

Thank you for providing the support to inspire these global professionals.

Next Wednesday, October 23, will you help "get things done" during GlobalGiving Bonus Day? Your contribution will be matched by 30% between 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT on 10/23/2013.

On behalf of Esther, Vithika, and all our Fellows, we thank you for being such valued members of our community!

Cheers!

Abby
