What is your one thing....

#Do1Thing - July 16, 2014

Hello!

What is the one thing you do to make the world better? Atlas Corps is a network of 290 Fellows from 60 countries who bring their "one thing" together to positively impact our world. Whether it's youth development in Latin America to environmental issues in Southeast Asia, Atlas Corps Fellows cross borders and cultures to bring all those skills together to achieve results! Our Class 15 Fellows just arrived in May and they are already achieving results:

  • Arturo (Mexico, Host: Kids Good Basket) promotes community building by enhancing daily operations at this hunger relief organizations and engaging unique volunteer groups.
  • Trina (India, Host: American Express Foundation) promotes leadership development through a leadership academy that brings together dynamic leaders from across the world.
  • Darren (China, Host: Human Rights First) promotes LGBT issues by advocating for equality and dignity on a global scale.

Now, Atlas Corps is asking YOU, our supporters, that question this summer during our #Do1Thing campaign. Are you ready to get involved? The campaign is a lead up to GlobalGiving Bonus Day on July 16, 2014. Bonus Day is a day when individual contributions to Atlas Corps will be matched at 50% on July 16, 2014.
Will you become a Campaign Captain? This honor means that you commit to donating $10 on 7.16.2014, recruit 10 friends/family to donate $10, and send us your #Do1Thing photo.

Together, we can achieve our goal and collectively share with the world: What is the one thing you do to make the world better? (#Do1Thing)

We are especially looking to YOU to play a special role. We will be in touch with more details over the next few weeks.

Thanks!

-Abby

P.S. Remember, mark July 16, 2014, on your calendars!
