Atlas Corps: Building Bridges for Social Impact

Atlas Corps featured in Washington Post....

By Abby Flottemesch | Chief Development & Engagement Officer

Hello-

It is historical day at Atlas Corps!

First, we were featured in a great Washington Post article: "In the ‘reverse Peace Corps,’ future leaders from abroad hone their skills." The article captures the community that is Atlas Corps and highlights our Fellow, Monica Azner Diaz (Spain), who is sharing her social work skills providing outreach services to individuals at Washington, DC-based Miriam's Kitchen.

Second, we just placed five new Fellows for Class 19 (September 2015) in one day! This number is only the beginning. We are well on our way to record-breaking numbers for this upcoming class. Look forward to the full announcement in September.

Third, well, we will see what happens tomorrow....

These moments of organizational achievement happen because of YOU. Our network has played in instrumental role in supporting Atlas Corps since 2006. Thanks to your support, we have recruited inspired individuals to be Fellows, engaged with dynamic organizations to host these Fellows, and received the support we need to continue to grow our organization.

Today, our network is more than 300 Fellows from 70 countries who have served at 130 organizations. We know that are network will continue to grow with you support!

As we plan for Class 19's arrival in September, we invite you think of how you can invest in these emerging leaders. Your contribution will directly support the Fellows. Your gift of $20, $50, $100 provides the opportunity for one more global leader to more effectively inspire positive impact at home and aboard.

Thank you for being part of Atlas Corps! Thank you for supporting Atlas Corps Fellows!

-Abby
