Celebrate International Day of the Woman....
Abeer (Syria, Class 23, Host: SparkAction)
Hello donor-
Thank you! Your support has inspired an amazing start to 2017. In January, we welcomed Atlas Corps Class 23—23 talented leaders from 17 countries. Now more than ever, we need to engage this diverse pool of global talent to forward positive social impact at home and abroad.
This month, will you continue to support Atlas Corps? Celebrate International Day of the Woman on March 8! You can support Fellows like Abeer Pamuk (Syria, Host: SparkAction)—a communications specialist from Syria with experience in using digital media to advance vulnerable communities.
In Abeer's words:
“It was a dream to become an Atlas Corps Fellow. I felt overwhelmed by the situation in my country. I knew that through the Fellowship I would meet new people and be given opportunity. I would connect with creative people assisting on solving problems. By feeling alone, I would never be able to find solutions. But together! I am learning and building by capacity. My goal is to return to Syria and use all this positive energy.”
Fun fact: Did you know that 60% of Atlas Corps Fellows are female?
Today, you can support Abeer and other female leaders as they develop their skills through Atlas Corps!
Thank you for the support!
-Abby
