Moshwani Outpatient Clinic - Kalakan Region

Thank you for supporting our Moshwani clinic project in Afghanistan, located in Moshwani village in kalakan province 40 miles north of Kabul.

For the year this outpatient clinic provided general medical care, vaccination, pre- and post-natal care, minor surgery ,dental work and birth control to Moshwani’s 9000 villagers.

The clinic started continuously informed patients and the villagers of health prevention practices such as.

• Should have a mask when entering the clinic
• Recording their temperature
• Spraying the hands with alcohol
• If a patient has fever and other sign and symptoms of Covid 19,they will refer  to the special center for testing of Covid 19.

Moshwani is a very isolated village far from the city. During this harsh winter the clinic witnesses more cases of respiratory disease which it requires antibiotic and other necessary medication.

I want to include the statistic for 2024:

• Total patients seen in Moshwani  Payan out patient  clinic, 23,259.
• Internal medicine and pediatrics 8,448
• Gynecologic, antenatal, post-natal and family planning 3893
• Vaccination 4,314

We are making this appeal for whatever assistance can be extended to the Moshwani Out-Patient Clinic.

Moshwani Payan outpatient clinic located in Kalakan province 40 miles north of Kabul has been active and serving the community of Moshwani 9000 villagers.  This clinic is the only clinic in this region that is kept open even after, when Taliban took over, The organization for the advancement of Afghan women is responsible for the salary of our nine employees, buying the medicines equipment, and the keep up and expenses like electricity bills and repairs.

Moshwani clinic is a health center for two public schools nearby within walking distance, which we provide them with vaccination, medical emergencies, dental care.  This year the clinic attended to more than 10,000 patient visits including medical OB/GYN and birth control pediatric, dental, and vaccination service.

The clinic is in serious need of aid and would sincerely appreciate for friends of GlobalGiving to give it great consideration.
