By Ann Revington | AMI Founder
Our AMI team is so appalled by the plight of so many birthing mothers in the Ukraine being thrown into a situation no prospective or new mother should ever have to go through that our hearts went out to them and we recently launched two fundraising campaigns.
One was a live online Music for Health Fest where we had musicians from all over the world, and the second one was a fundraising 10k walk around Paris led by one of our founders, Ann Revington. With these funds we are currently validating the procedure to support a Ukrainian Hospital who is in need of material that will allow them to support premature babies' health and also technical equipment to measure the health of the baby still in the womb.
Besides beavering away to raise funds we have also launched our second online course, the Infant Massage Practitioner Certification. Besides being a great course for anyone interested in supporting new families, it allows us to support regions of the world currently facing the most difficult challenges, by training Practitioners in infant massage. For example, Ukraine, as a current war zone, is very much in need of tools and techniques to help the mom and her baby bond and relax from the adversities and agitated life happening around them. With practitioners trained in the science of Ayurvedic Baby Massage, many families will take the best that this ancient knowledge has to offer to the modern world.
Our monthly Q&A Sessions help new mothers and their families to apply the techniques learned on our Baby Massage Coaching Online Course, clearing their doubts and giving them the confidence needed to effectively deliver Ayurvedic massage to their babies, in a caring, safe and loving environment.
We are so grateful for all the help and support we are receiving to continue this vital work to give families the best start for their children.
