At Hogar Bambi’s fifth house, we provide comprehensive care to at least 36 boys and girls ranging from newborns to 2-year-old infants, whom from an early age have been deprived of a family structure. Given the nature and importance of our mission, we have had to undertake various construction projects and make detailed adjustments to our facility to ensure we have the appropriate spaces that are in line with the needs of the children cared for at the home.
Its important to remember that Hogar Bambi embarked on this project to properly shelter and care for the babies and young children that enter the institution. These infants most of the time arrive with critical health challenges, malnutrition, the absence of the appropriate childhood vaccinations and pediatric care, among other challenges. They require specialized and personalized attention, as well as a safe space that is warm and comforting to facilitate their adaptation, rehabilitation, and cognitive and psychomotor development.
