The new school year has begun with a little more confidence and joy for 140 children from socially vulnerable families in Georgia.
As part of our Back to School initiative, Sapling of Kindness provided children with new school backpacks and essential school supplies. For many families facing financial hardship, preparing a child for school is a significant expense. These supplies help ease that burden and ensure that children can enter their classrooms prepared and ready to learn.
What began with a goal of supporting 50 children has already reached far beyond our initial expectations. A total of 140 students received the items they needed for school. This achievement reminds us how much can be accomplished when people come together around a simple belief: a family's financial situation should never prevent a child from starting school with dignity.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports our work and helps us continue reaching children who need it most.
