Ahmed, a 10-year-old boy with eyes sparkling with hope, lives in a refugee camp managed by COOPI. His childhood was scarred by war, which destroyed his home and school, depriving him of an education and a peaceful future. But despite the hardships, Ahmed never lost his desire to learn. Thanks to COOPI's "Back to school" project, he finally managed to return to the classroom.
At first, Ahmed was a little shy and scared. But his teachers, with their kindness and support, helped him integrate. He made new friends and learned many new things. Ahmed is finally happy to be able to go to school and knows that education is the key to a better future.
When asked "What do you want to do when you grow up?", Ahmed replied with eyes full of determination: "I want to become a doctor to help the people in my country." And it is thanks to your support and COOPI's activities on the ground that Ahmed will have the opportunity to make his dreams come true.
Ahmed's story is a message of hope and resilience. It is a demonstration that education is the key to overcoming even the most difficult situations and building a better future. It is a hymn to the willpower and courage of a child who never gave up in the face of adversity, tenaciously pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor and helping his country. His story is a reminder to all of us never to lose hope and to strive for a more just and united world.
