This project focuses on alleviating the healthcare challenges faced by Ukrainian children who have lost one or both of their parents due to war. This initiative addresses the complex medical needs of these vulnerable children, many of whom are internally displaced and grappling with the aftermath of displacement and loss.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has left 53% of our children as internally displaced persons, grappling with the loss of a parent and the challenges of displacement. In addition to the emotional toll, these children and their guardians face financial difficulties, especially in covering basic medical expenses. The war has strained Ukraine's healthcare system, reducing its capacity to provide essential services, and creating a healthcare crisis for these vulnerable children.
Our comprehensive "Ensuring Health and Hope" project addresses the urgent need for medical care by implementing a complex medical insurance program. This program is tailored to cover emergency and inpatient care, as well as essential medicines. By combining state and private medical infrastructure, we aim to bridge the gap in healthcare access for internally displaced children, providing a safety net for their medical needs.
Healthcare Accessibility: Making essential medical services accessible to every child in our care, ensuring that financial constraints do not compromise their well-being. Holistic Well-being: Focusing on early detection and prevention, the project aims to contribute to the overall improvement of the physical and psychological well-being of the children. By addressing medical needs comprehensively, the project empowers children to overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead healthier lives.
