Meet Bohdan, a young boy from Zaporizhzhia, whose life has been deeply affected by the ongoing war.
When the russian full-scale invasion began, Bohdan’s family was in Zaporizhzhia, a city that has been bombarded heaviliy. Forced to flee, they took an evacuation train to Lviv. Their journey then took them to Portugal, where they hoped to find safety and stability. However, Bohdan, who has a disability and suffers from mild mental retardation, faced challenges accessing timely medical care in Portugal. With long queues and limited access to doctors, his health deteriorated.

Tragedy struck when they learned of the death of Bohdan’s father. In the face of such immense loss and ongoing war, the family returned home, where Bohdan finally received the medical care he urgently needed.

Thanks to your generosity, our Foundation has been able to provide Bohdan with:

  • Medical and Psychological Care: Regular sessions with a speech therapist and psychological support to help him through these tough times.
  • Rehabilitation: Critical rehabilitation services at the Odesa Rehabilitation Center.
  • Doctor Consultations: Access to top specialists for necessary medical advice.
  • Essential Supplies: A laptop, clothes, shoes, a power bank, and nutritional support.
  • Emotional Support: Participation in Wonder Camp, offering him a chance to connect with others and find joy.

With the war continuing, children like Bohdan need ongoing medical care and support. Your contributions make this possible, providing lifelines to those who need them most.

Please consider donating today to ensure we can continue to support children in need. Thank you for standing with us.
