At just ten years old, Maxim lost his father, a brave Ukrainian soldier who gave his life defending his country. As if this loss weren’t enough, Maxim began struggling with severe respiratory problems—persistent coughing, difficulty breathing, and recurring illnesses.

A medical diagnosis revealed allergies to dust mites and pet dander, putting Maxim at high risk for bronchial asthma. The prescribed treatment, allergen immunotherapy, offers hope for long-term relief but requires consistent use of costly medication over several years. For his mother, Olga, who supports their family alone, this expense is overwhelming.
