Greetings and best wishes to you from BASS- India
Trust that everything is well with you and your family.
Thank you so much for your kind continuous support to the children in the project for the last three years. We are all very much happy to continue the project effectively in three locations in Guntur district even though we receive few donations.
The new academic years 2014- 15 started, we are very happy to tell you that we have started a new school centre in Nallakunta slum, Guntur from June 2014 for 50 children. 2 Teachers are giving education to the children in this location. And we continued other two schools at Swranbarathinanagar slum and Dasaripalem slum with the support of this project. Altogether we have more than 200 children were getting care and primary education at present. The parents of the children were expressing their gratitude to us for providing the school facility to the children in the slums. Their cooperation is increased and also involving in the development of the schooling facilities.
During this quarter we have joyfully celebrated our National Independence day in two schools on 15th August 2014. Children organized cultural activities on the day. We are also celebrated birthday celebrations of our major supports in July 2014.
We are also very happy to tell you that Neeharika (Neha) Tummala, representative from GlobalGiving Foundation has visited our project in three locations on 18th June 2014 and interact with children and staff and gave valuable feedback on the project. Thank you so much for Neeharika, GlobalGiving for visiting us.
We have received a grant of $403 donations during this quarter from GlobalGiving USA and utilized to provide educational material for 100 children in July 2014. Thank you so much for the help.
We humbly requesting you to kindly promote and share this project with all your friends and families to get more help. We are very much worrying to continue the school with limited help we get from you only. Please don’t mind that we are pressuring for help, because we run the project only with the support from you only.
Education is the basic need for children, so please do your best my friend in service
