Based in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, BASS provides educational, economic, social, health care and emergency relief services to the people who face poverty, illiteracy, disease and disasters. BASS also promotes social justice, equality and empowerment for the children, youth, women and sick people who are most affected by the harsh socio-economic conditions. BASS is a registered organization under the Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860 income tax exemptions in India and also registered with FCRA and has received various awards and recognitions for its outstanding work.. BASS provides a range of services and programs to address their needs and aspirations, such as: BASS runs schools, vocational training centers, child labor eradication programs, adult literacy classes and awareness campaigns to enhance the educational opportunities and outcomes for the people. BASS supports the livelihoods and income generation of the people through self-help groups, microfinance, skill development, agricultural development and marketing assistance. BASS advocates for the rights and dignity of the people and fights against social evils such as child marriage, dowry, domestic violence, caste discrimination and human trafficking. BASS also organizes cultural and sports events to foster social harmony and integration. BASS provides health care services and facilities to the people, especially the sick, elderly and disabled. BASS operates health camps, mobile clinics, ambulance services, eye care centers, HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs and palliative care units. BASS responds to the natural and man-made disasters that affect the people, such as floods, cyclones, droughts, fires and communal riots. BASS provides immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation to the victims, such as food, water, shelter, clothing, medical aid, counseling and reconstruction. BASS is continuously working to prevent Covid indentions in India.
