This project will immediately eliminate the food insecurity and nutritional gaps faced by the 40 residential girls. It ensures they receive uninterrupted access to balanced nutrition, improving their physical health, energy levels, and academic focus. Furthermore, it relieves the severe financial strain on our daily operational budget, allowing us to focus on providing quality education, protection, and emotional care for the children.
Due to a lack of core funding and rising operational costs, our children's home faces severe budget shortages for daily groceries, rice, vegetables, milk. While basic schooling and care expenses are partially covered by regular supporters, maintaining a consistent supply of healthy, nutritious meals, breakfasts, daily snacks for 40 residing girls has become extremely difficult. Without adequate nutrition, the girls' health, growth, immunity, and concentration in school are directly compromised.
This microproject will secure complete meal and grocery supplies for 40 girls over a three-month period. With a budget of $600 per month ($1,800 total), we will purchase essential monthly groceries, rice, fresh vegetables, pulses, and daily milk supplies. This funding ensures that every girl receives three balanced, wholesome meals, along with energizing morning breakfasts and evening snacks every single day, keeping them healthy and focused on their studies.
Ensuring consistent, nutritious meals during critical growth years strengthens the girls' physical health, immune systems, and overall well-being. Good health directly improves their school attendance and academic performance, empowering these young girls to build bright, self-reliant futures.
