Dear Friends
Greetings and kind wishes to you from BASS!
Thank you so much for your kind continuous help to our project in GlobalGiving for the last four years.
We are successfully implementing the project for the benefit of 150 out of school children in three slums in Guntur. Our project is active and gets a badge from GlobalGiving as “VETTED”
We are very happy and very much grateful to you for your continuous support and help to our project.
150 children are benefitting through this project, as they get best care and basic primary education with the help of 7 teachers in three schools. Currently we are in the final days in the academic year 2015-16. Children are looking forward to appear for the year end annual exams from second week of April 2016. After that we will give summer holidays and about 25 children will promote to the higher studies in local high schools. Thus the school program is very much successful as per the goal of the project.
We are very happy to tell you that we have launched a new sub project “community health care program in 5 slums in Guntur district with the help of the GlobalGiving UK – community Development Grant. Our project has been sanctified for the grant of UK Pounds 10,000 in the last quarter. We have applied for 15000 Pounds but we get grant 10,000 pounds only. We are very much grateful and sending our gratitude to the donor for this project. Thank you so much.
We are already started the project in January 2016 along with ongoing children education program. We are purchased a second hand Jeep for the Health care program to bring medical team to the slums.
We are conducted 4 health awareness and medical relief camps in slums. Two specialized doctors Dr. Madhulatha and Dr. Peddabbai from Chilakaluripet were organized the camps and gave health awareness to the communities and also check their health conditions and gave needed medicines for cure. And also the severe conditioned patients were referred to the government hospitals for best proper medical treatment in time.
The total grant we have received in this quarter is about US$ 16000. With this grant we have purchased a second hand car for US$ 10100 and registered in the name of our organization. The vehicle is registered in the name of our organisation and the registatrion Number in AP16 CS 7227. We are also utilized the grant of US$ 750 for the mid day meal and expenses for January and February Months. We are also used the grant for the purchase of medicines, Driver Salary and fuel maintenance for two months and medical camps in the slums.
We are very much happy and grateful to GlobalGiving Family for giving us the great opportunity to work in the slums in Guntur.
Still we need lot of grant required for the continuation of our programs; we are difficult to run schools from June 2016 as new academic year starts.
Therefore we humbly requesting you to kindly support his project as well as to refer to other people to get help. We are always ready to serve the needy communities in our target areas with new challenges through your able support.
Thank you so much
With gratitude
