Care and Educate slum kids in Guntur, India

Thank you so much for your kind continuous help to the project care and education for slum kids in Guntur, India.

We are extremely happy for keep continue the project to serve 150 slum children in three slums in Guntur with all your support.  

Our three schools are effectively going on well for the new academic year 2016-17. Again 150 children continue to educate and care program for this year too. 7 teachers are working for these three centers. Attendance is well this year with the cooperation of the staff members.  We are also continue to provide mid day meal for all the children in all school working days.  Fortunately our government is  recognized the need of the school for children in need and grant us permissions to run the school under National Child Labor project from Guntur from June 2016 at Dasaripalem slum.  And the Government provided us two academic teachers, one clerk and a helper for the one school for 50 children. And also will provide lunch program for 50 children in future months. Thanks to the NCLP, Guntur for providing us this opportunity.     

We are already conducted two unit exams and one quarterly exam for the children in three schools. Children are doing their best and get good progress their subjects. Teachers are very well in teaching children.

And our Health care and medical relief program we are continuously organizing health awareness and medical relief camps in slums and the villages.  This quarter we have been organized 4 health camps and check the health conditions of 300 patients and provided the needy medicines and also referred severe health problem patients to Government General Hospitals for proper treatment in time. Two doctors Dr. Madhulatha and Dr. Peddabbai and their 2 Male Nurses (ANM) from Chilakaluripet were again leads the camps and provided health awareness programs.  Thanks to our medical team for their timely support for our health care programs for success.    

This quarter we have been received a grant of US$ 1150 for all your donations. Thanks you so much for your trust on us provide us your timely donations. We are utilized this grant for mid day meal expenses for 100 children for July and August 2016 and also pay the renewal of our mobile van Insurance and the maintenance of the vehicle  for the year 2016-17.
