The Jefte Project is a non-governmental organization that works to reach children at-risk situations in Kyenjojo, Uganda. Our project already supports 20 children with school fees and nutrition, we work to break the poverty cycle and change their realities, making them prepared and able to a new path through education. We dream of having our school to spread care, education, and love for a bigger number of kids, be a part of this dream.
Uganda is facing hard education problems, most kids in a rural area like Kyenjojo have no access to school and proper education. Less than half (40 percent) of students are literate at the end of primary school. These kids also suffer from malnutrition and lack of health care.
Build a sustainable school with no-fee primary and high school for orphans and vulnerable kids in Kyenjojo district, Uganda.
Change the families reality and whole area through proper education, empowering their skills preparing them to face life challenges in a better way.
