This project will establish an emergency vet reserve for our 35 plus rescue horses. We plan to use these reserves for vet visits, emergency medicines and treatment providing our animals with the best care. Additionally, we will fund the ongoing cost of the special needs riding program including farrier visits, hay, food and supplements to keep our horses healthy.
Bearfoot Ranch is a rescue facility that homes over 35 horses who support our therapeutic riding program for special needs riders. We are all donor funded and volunteer driven and need funds to support our emergency vet fund, feeding and ranch improvements.
Allow us to have an emergency fund for injuries such as eye injuries and other vet emergencies. We will also be able to fund our feeding program for rescue horses who serve our therapeutic program for students with special needs.
We will be able to increase the number of students we serve in the community by having healthy horses for the special needs program. The covered arena and improvements will allow lessons to occur in cold and bad weather so these students who depend on lessons will not have to miss lessons.
This project has provided additional documentation in a DOCX file (projdoc.docx).
