Challenge

Malaria is one of leading causes of disease and death in the world and is contracted through the bite if an infected female mosquito. Worldwide there are around 216 million cases of malaria every year.

By contributing to this fund, you will be ensuring that local charity organisations are able to provide mosquito nets for their community.

Long-Term Impact

Bed nets treated with insecticide, amongst other initiatives, has proven to be a cheap and effective way to prevent bites from infected mosquitos. The number of people dying from malaria has fallen by a third over the past decade due to good investments and innovations, yet 655,000 people still die each year.
