Summary

Support Beepul's future mountain biking career! Beepul is one of our former students. He is a talented rider. Despite lack of funds, he now competes at elite levels but with a broken bike. It has become impossible to take part and suceed without the resources he needs. Your donation will help him compete, win and support others. He is determined to overcome barriers of being from a rural farming family, and achieve his full potential. Donate today to help us secure him a mountain bike!

Challenge

Though unable to join a riding group, he saves any money he can for bike parts. Beepul says "The hardest thing is when I go to races, the rest of the riding community see me as a poor village boy without money, lack of training and a broken bike and they look down on me. It can be very demotivating. When practicing in 2022 I crashed and broke the front triangle of my bike which had cost my family all of our money. Ever since then it has been almost impossible to ride."

Solution

We want Beepul to have a bike and to fulfil his potential and dream of competing at professional level. He is certainly good enough, but hasn't the resources. He says "I have worked very hard to improve my skills. Twice I have managed to come first on my broken bike and once when I had no chain I came 6th. That was really hard" Beepul will be able to ride, train, defeat prejudice and create more equality in Nepalese Sport, whilst inspiring kids from vulnerable backgrounds.

Long-Term Impact

When Beepul rides, the kids in the community are really inspired. He says "They see it as a fun skill to learn, they want to learn bike tricks, and they also appreciate my hard work and perseverance, which has helped me do exciting things! One day I want to be a guide and run a business helping people ride in the hills and enjoy a more environmentally friendly way to travel. I want to make YouTube videos to inspire kids like me across Nepal." YOU CAN HELP Beepul achieve this!
