Hello from Cambodia.
I wanted to write to thank you again for your donations that are helping to disadvantaged children and youth a chance a better future.
“I want to learn how to write my name.”
Your generosity is helping children like 14 year old Sreyleak, one of the most recent students to join our education “Bridging Program” that helps children and youth who have never been to school (or have been out of school for a long time) catch up with their studies. Sreyleak has never attended public school when she was growing up. The family is very poor and wanted the young girl to earn money instead of going to school. Sreyleak spent most of her childhood working on the beach selling fireworks. She is now in a classroom at our Education Center learning to read and write – essential basic skills needed for a better future as she grows up. We wouldn’t be able to provide programs like this without your support. Thank you!
As always, if you have questions or comments please don’t hesitate to contact me at info@mloptapang.org and I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
Sincerely,
Eve Sarosarin,
Director, M’Lop Tapang
