Hello, and a big Happy Khmer New Year from Cambodia!
From all of us here at M’Lop Tapang, thank you again for your generous donations that are helping to make sure that thousands of children and youth from low-income families are being given the opportunities to have a better future.
Your support is helping children like 7-year-old Bopha* who had never been to school before. She recently moved to the area and her parents are working as laborers at a local construction site, which is where they are also temporarily living.
Bopha is now one of the hundreds of children attending non-formal education classes at M’Lop Tapang’s Education Program. The classes are designed to help children who have never been to school or have been out of school for a long time catch up with their studies. The goal is for them to catch up sufficiently to enroll in the public school system and continue their education.
