Closing Report
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President of Nehemiah's Restoration
As we continue to move forward this year with our two new Community Groups, we have decided to combine this 'project' with the “Two New Centers Help 100+ Orphaned and Vulnerable Children” project. At the start of this year, we realized that these two projects are generally working towards the same means. Rest assured; your funds are going to support the exact same work!
From this point on, all recurring donations will go to support our new "Two New Centers Help 100+ Orphaned and Vulnerable Children here on GlobalGiving.
We wish to thank you for your continued support and understanding of this decision!

Trainings With Two New Groups
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President
Our process to begin partnerships with two new community groups this year continues! We have put a lot of time and energy into ensuring that the new systems and approaches we put into place with these two partnerships help these groups be the most effective and self-sustainable. Our goal is to help the Orphaned and Vulnerable Children these groups will support to be raised up in families that ensure the OVC will have the best possible chance at skipping generational poverty and growing up to be adults who are able to give back to their own communities.
To ensure these new groups are able to do this, we will be hosting multiple day trainings with each potential group where we explain to them best practices for offering each other and the OVC they support psycho-social support, how to ensure the children are receiving the right kind of support, how to integrate a child into your family who is not your biological offspring, etc. We are very excited for this next step and the continued process of empowering OVC to become self-sustaining adults!

New Beginnings
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President of Nehemiah's Restoration
We are so excited to announce that thanks to help from supporters like you, we will be able to begin partnerships with two new community groups this year! This means that Nehemiah's Restoration will have the opportunity to support over 100 new Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVC)! We are truly so grateful for this chance to come alongside families who have taken in OVC and empower them so that the OVC they support can grow up to be healthy, self-sufficient adults.
The 18 by 18 Challenge was started to help us ensure that the OVC we work with have the physical, emotional, and spiritual support they need so that when they turn 18 years old and become adults, they will be able to not only go out into society and be sucessful, but so that they will also be in a position to help their community the way that they were. It's a ripple effect that we know will create a lot of change and the models that we have set up for these new community groups will ensure that that ripple is even bigger!
Thank you for your continued support of NR and what we do! We couldn't do this without you!
