Dear donors,
Female teachers in rural Nigeria often walk up to three hours daily on unsafe roads to reach schools. This leads to fatigue, lateness, and sometimes leaving their jobs, reducing education access for children. This project will provide 170 bicycles, along with safety gear and basic repair training, to help teachers travel safely and arrive on time. The initiative will improve teacher attendance, extend classroom hours, and inspire students, especially girls, by showing the value of education.
Some donations have already been received, but the current funds are insufficient to fully purchase and distribute the bicycles. Your contribution will help kickstart the project, ensuring teachers can reach schools safely and children have reliable access to education.
Warm regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
