Dear donors,
Thank you for your support and for caring about the challenges medical students face in Nigeria.
Many students in public universities, especially those in rural areas, walk long distances every day to reach hospitals, lecture halls, and labs. Public transport is often unreliable, expensive, or unavailable. This makes them late for classes, tired, and stressed. Students from low-income families often cannot afford even a bicycle, which adds to their struggle.
This project will provide 150 bicycles to 150 medical undergraduate students. Each bicycle will come with a helmet and safety gear to make travel safer and easier. With a bicycle, students will save time and energy, arrive on time for lectures and clinical duties, and focus better on their training.
From our current donations, we can only afford one Simba bicycle based on our market survey. We are hopeful that with more support, we can start by providing at least three bicycles while continuing to raise funds to reach all 150 students.
To prospective donors, thank you for considering support. Even a small contribution can help a medical student reach their hospital or classroom safely, save time, and focus on becoming a future doctor.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
