Challenge

We need to raise money to build our 24th annual Catholic Build house in the Scenic Point neighborhood in East Austin. The house will be a home for 2 hard-working parents of a new baby. The home will bring stability to the family, as they're running out of places to live in Austin.

Solution

The home will provide long-term, stable shelter for the family. No longer will they be forced to move every few months for cheaper rent. They are excited to bring up their daughter in a safe, and stable home.

Long-Term Impact

Studies show that children who live in Habitat houses have a greater chance of going and graduating from college. The child in the home will have stability in her education. Both parents are in the service industry; an industry in Austin that needs long-term employees. She'll be able to put roots down, grow in their jobs, and be a vital part of Austin's career ecosystem.
