Book Donation Program for Students in Koralawella Area
2. Project Background
Education is one of the most important foundations for a child’s future. However, many students in underserved communities face difficulties in obtaining essential school supplies due to financial challenges. Recognizing this need, we organized a book donation project to support school children in the Koralawella area.
The primary goal of this initiative was to reduce the financial burden on families and encourage students to continue their education with confidence by providing them with necessary school books and learning materials.
3. Project Objectives
To support underprivileged students with essential school books.
To encourage education and improve learning opportunities.
To reduce the financial burden on parents in the community.
To promote community involvement and social responsibility.
4. Beneficiaries
A total of 60 students from the Koralawella area benefited from this project. The selected students were from families facing economic difficulties and were identified with the support of local community representatives.
