Books are vital to learning and having good quality literature available makes all the difference to people’s educational progress at centers.  Sometimes the books are donated or come from the Women’s affairs directorate as happened last month. Other times AIL purchases books or publishes them.We have many stories of great success achieved by students at AIL centers. These successes would not have occurred without access to quality literature.

One Kabul center reported that, Our English teacher, named Sadaf who learn English from AIL courses passed the Konor Exam (a university entry exam) successfully and will now join Kabul Medical University. Her father named Salih herachievement is due to AIL who made my daughter learn and study her books and now achieved joining a medical faculty.” Another manager said that, “A former home school teacher in Herat is now Deputy Director to the Governor of Herat.”

Thank you for your continued support for this vital educational resource, books!

AIL is working towards:

SDG Goal 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
